Meet Rosie Byrne! Rosie has been travelling to Goradiche every year for almost twenty years with the Burren Chernobyl Project. She has been hugely disappointed that she was unable to carry on this tradition for the past two years due to the challenging times of the pandemic. Neither was she able to hold fundraising coffee mornings for the same reason.
Rosie had to think outside the box and come up with something novel and new! So… she decided to go drastic and shave her head on 12th June!!! Rosie has such a longterm and emotional connection with the children in the Orphanage and she has missed them dearly in the last two years. Her longtime goal is to create a purpose built Sensory Room to provide physical and mental stimulus for the children who are suffering from physical disabilities, developmental delays and sensory impairments. It can help their sight, sound, touch and hearing, as well as encouraging independence. So, let’s support Rosie in such a worthwhile cause! You can donate via the iDonate link or on Revolut (DM for details). www.idonate/Rosie Byrne
Well done Rosie!
