2019 results were announced this week and to the delight and joy of everybody in our town, Shannon were awarded a huge overall increase of 8 marks. This enormous increase indicates the appreciation of the National judges of all the hard work done during the year by our amazing volunteers. Indeed it was obvious to see the wonderful displays of extra pots, containers, hanging baskets & colourful flower beds enjoyed by not just by all of our Parishioners, but the many visitors who commented on the way our town looked during the Summer. Thank you Tidy Towns, to the fantastic band of volunteers past and present, and the clubs and associations who support you. You give us great pride in our town and Parish and you all deserve our appreciation and thanks for a wonderful job very well done!!! Bouquets to you all!
