Congratulations to our own Derek Clune who won Clare O.P. C.Volunteer of the Year Award this week at Woodstock Hotel, Ennis. He won the overall award for his contribution to Tidy Towns Shannon. Also nominated for the Award and received Certificates of Achievement were Joe and Pauline who have done trojan work in our community and were presented with Certificates of Achievement.  Well done Derek, seen here in the centre of the picture and supported by members of Shannon’s Active Retirement and Tidy Towns – all enjoying a happy night out of celebrations!
