The third year of Mercy on the Mall took place in Skycourt Shopping Centre, Shannon, on Friday 8th December, the Feast of The Immaculate Conception. For five hours, from 1pm to 6pm, Bishop Fintan Monahan and 20 priests made themselves available to the public for a chat, Blessing or Confession. In this time all Priests were kept engaged with people and the feedback has been very positive and encouraging. People travelled from different counties and locally to avail of this opportunity in preparation for Christmas.

St. Conaire’s School Choir provided seasonal entertainment as the public engaged with the Bishop and Priests. Our thanks to Bishop Fintan, the priests, St. Conaire’s School choir and teachers and staff, Pat Kelly and staff of Skycourt, O’Connor’s Bakery and Restaurant for refreshments. Thanks to Peter Walsh, Fr. Arnold and Joe Buckley for the photos.
