The Killaloe Diocese hosted a one day conference on the World Meeting of Families in the Oakwood Hotel, Shannon, on Saturday 23rd September. The day began with morning prayer led by the Shannon Folk Group. The keynote address was given by Marie Steen from the Iona Institute followed by a questions and answers session. Other speakers included Fr Harry Bohan and Martin Kennedy from the World Meeting of Families in Dublin.
The day was concluded with an input from the Killaloe Diocesan Forum informing participants about the Diocesan Youth Fest which will take place on Saturday 30th September in St. Flannan’s College, Ennis.
