Work began on Tuesday 30th January in Mary Immaculate Church on the construction of a shrine in honour of Mary the Mother of God. This is to acknowledge the Golden Jubilee of the church which is dedicated to Mary Mother of God. The new shrine will be located in the old Confessional Box on the Boyne Park side of the Church. In addition more space is being provided to store equipment needed in the Liturgy as well as electrical and other improvements. While the work is in progress access to the Church will be through the centre aisle and the church continues to be open daily for Mass, prayer and visits. Our thanks to Michael Clancy who is carrying out the work.
