The annual Festival of Cribs took place in St Bridget’s Church Liscannor on Saturday, Sunday and Monday 16th, 17th and 18th December. The Festival of 740 cribs is organised each year by Fr Denis Crosby and his parishioners in Liscannor to celebrate the Joy of Advent in preparation for the Feast of Christmas.

Cribs both big and small and from all nations of the world tell the one story of the birth of the Christ child. Well worth a visit and admission is free. Our thanks to Fr Denis and his parishioners and to Bishop Fintan for the photographs.
